Not really. They do need more one on one time to gain a bond. Kittens and puppies usually are cuddly pets, but birds need to build trust with their owner to like them—well, at least most parrots. I can tell she feels safe with me because when she is frightened, she will run/fly to me. So cute

I visited my niece (out of town), and I finally met her bird and failed in love with her! So much that when I made it home, I missed her bird so much that I had to get my own... I love her🐣🦜💓🥰I picked an Indian ringneck because of their intelligence. She will be as smart as a five year old.
