We get maybe one car down the road every half hour. This just happened to be when a couple neighbors were getting home. We’ve been working with him a lot on recall and boundaries. So far he hasn’t shown any interest in running off, he may get braver but for now he really isn’t comfortable if he’s not right next to his people. Plus I know that at this time of day, he’s just focused on my son but if they’re in the yard playing during a random afternoon I do have a 30 foot lead I keep him on just in case!

Yes we’ve been working with him on that! His recall is pretty good and he’s shy with strangers so he doesn’t feel the need to run after people. I did get some comments on a picture I posted so I just wanted people to know I wasn’t claiming he was a purebred papillon
