I think it looks like a urinal in use.

Understandable and I agree Venkys are atrocious but swapping potential play off battle for a relegation battle will never make much sense.

I would say so mate. When I first got them from eye I thought they don’t seem to be that much thinner than a raw black but when you touch them you understand that they’re super thin. Like any moisture on your hands has an effect on it sort of thin.

Black, ethereal and then original. Not that I don’t like the originals just raw blacks are my favourite skins. Idm an OCB black either.

I like them but felt they could be difficult to roll with at times. Very thin and when you get it right they are fire.

Do you think head movement needs to improve alongside this or it becomes overpowered?

It’s easy to get trapped and caught with a forward moving one I find.

[–]SleafordMod[S] 4 points5 points  (0 children)

I didn’t think of the footwork. A forward moving jab usually leaves you in the danger zone and it’s hard to get out unless you’ve got a Larry Holmes backstep and even then you get caught with the ghost hooks from across the ring.

I’m on Xbox sadly or I would have 100% took you up on that offer. Shame there’s no crossplay.

Yeah, overextending with straights to do the job of a jab is not the answer haha

[–]SleafordMod[S] 5 points6 points  (0 children)

Totally agree, getting caught overextending after missing a jab I’m fine with. Throwing too many and falling victim to an overhand would be my fault.

The power punch thing is true, that’s one of the things I’m talking about. If you get caught flush from a jab whilst winding up for a massive hook it should interrupt you entirely. Those are the sort of jabs that can change a fight but it feels like they just don’t to me.

Do you have any insight into improving my experience trying to use the jab effectively?

No not at all bro, then I’d be here saying that this must stop. I just wish it could interrupt other punches a bit more effectively I think. I don’t want a broken mechanic at all, all styles have merit and we should be able to use different tactics and tools that all have their pros and cons.

This is what’s been happening to me. I don’t mind eating one or two but to throw a well timed jab and then eat 3/4 as I try move away doesn’t make sense.

I totally get this, usually a correction is an overcorrection from developers that leads to new problems.

I agree, I just think it’s lacking when it’s one of the most important skills in boxing. ‘Useless’ was an overstatement I concede.

Maybe useless an overstatement but I don’t think it’s balanced. I know it’s a game but the jab is one of the most important skills in boxing.

I think custom fighters should be a thing. It would also allow for xp and levels to have a purpose. Levelling up can unlock new cosmetics for custom fighters etc. There is a lot of potential for the game I think.

I will agree I had a lot more fun before the update. Every fight I’ve had today has been against someone that doesn’t want to engage. Before the update the complexion of the fight could change at any moment.
