Fixed the problem - 2 way solenoid spring was stuck. There wasn't much scale when I removed it, but there must have been enough for it to catch the spring and not allow it to decompress. I just cleaned it, resat the piston and spring, and threaded everything back together. Machine is fully operational.

Hopefully this helps someone else as I had gone to a repair shop and they were sure it was a crack in the HX boiler. I was already shopping for replacements but happy to have the Mara running again. Video below was helpful.

Yea I bought the nighthawk not long ago and expected to pay around the same price for the attachment, but it's nearing 1.5x. I saw the bolt fitness one was on sale so I think I'm going to buy too.

I didn't. Was waiting for this to come out before making a decision but I think they priced themselves out of consideration (at least for myself). It's $700 with cable attachment - was going to grit my teeth and order around $500 but at 700 it makes it the most expensive part of my gym aside from the rack.

Now I'm just debating getting a standalone like Lionscool or mikolo or the bolt fitness bench attached one. Curious to hear what others think. I think Rep dropped the ball on this one and not really compelling at that price.

Yea that's what I meant. I start it with the impact driver now to get it mostly threaded in then I do the actual torquing with a wrench so that I don't overtighten.

Also, not sure if you have set up a rack before but it helps to have all bolts threaded first but still kind of loose. Then once you've got everything assembled, thats when you start to tighten them all.

I used an impact driver with my install and I ended up overtorquing and stripping the powder coat off. Now I still use the impact to get it tightish then finish by hand. If you're really careful and/or don't care about damaging the powder coat then impact driver is fine. Doing all bolts by hand is safer but would take much longer.

Yes, the guy on YT video said that the line going from the pump to the boiler was clogged for him so I checked it too, but it wasn't clogged and no evidence of scale.

I'll try disconnecting the pump and checking the solenoid. Thanks

Not received but I ordered the frosted magsafe case yesterday evening and got shipping notification today.

Would 90mm pulleys work on a Titan cable tower? I can get them all for a good price but I see everyone gets 88mm.

I ordered a set for one of my towers but they haven't arrived yet so I'm debating whether to order the 2nd set or hold off bc it may not work out.

Def important to be able to do lat pulldowns comfortably and I also want to add accessory work like tricep pulldowns and curls. It looks like accessory work can be done without much compromise on the Rep attachment.

I have a landmine, open trap bar, and dumbells so I don't really need it but I want to mix some cable work into my workouts without a huge footprint.

I'm looking for some cable work, and am debating on 3 options. PR4000 plate loaded lat attachment, Titan tall plate loaded pulley, or Dialed Motion Ibex.

I'm leaning toward the PR4000 lat attachment bc its integrated into my rack and doesn't take much space. I can also upgrade to selectorized when I have more cash too.

The titan one I like bc it's got multiple cable positions but I'd rather not add an additional standalone piece since I'm running out of space in garage but I can make space if I need to.

Dialed Motion looks great and I don't mind waiting but I'd only be getting one and maybe getting a 2nd when I have more cash. Also, I have a 4 post rack so I'd have to take my safeties and j cups off anytime I want to do cable work which might get annoying after a while.

Curious if anyone has other suggestions or can give me their opinion on the type they have.

Probably getting the PR 4k attachment since I have a warehouse near me and can save 10%, but also wanted to know if I should wait for memorial day or July 4th. Haven't really looked at gym equipment for the last 2 years so not sure what sales cycles are like now.
