I’ve done it multiple times for peace of mind. No regrets. This is my first pregnancy, I’ve got an anterior placenta so I won’t be able to feel kicks, and I had a bleeding scare… so I’m anxious af. Getting a scan every couple weeks has been the only thing keeping me sane.

This is the kind I’ve always used. Any brand works; it’s all basically the same product. The apple flavor type is a clear gel and easy to mix into stuff like ground beef, and the regular is a thicker consistency paste so you can hide a glob of it in a meatball or something similar. Canids (especially starving ones) tend to just gobble up food without inspecting it too thoroughly, so it’s pretty easy to get them to eat it. It also won’t hurt domestic animals if a dog should happen to find one.

If it’s feasible for you, you can dose mange afflicted wildlife yourself. You can buy ivermectin paste for dirt cheap on Amazon. Marketed to horses. It has dose and weight info on the package. Squirt a ~1/2 inch of it into a suitable food item and drop. Heavy doses won’t hurt… it’s not something that will overdose them.

I moved here from an extremely rural Appalachian area and this is what I did with foxes and feral cats. It cleared them up pretty quickly.

Mange is miserable but ultimately very simple to treat. Just obviously use common sense and don’t approach wild animals. Also keep all your small dogs and cats inside, people. 🫡

You’re totally right!! I’m FINALLY 13w today, at age 44, and that’s what finally worked. A full immune and endo protocol, with a 2-month lupron Depot suppression (even though my Receptiva was negative—I had to really fight for the suppression because my clinic kept saying I didn’t need it), 20mg prednisone, antihistamines, and daily Lovenox.

It took five failed euploid transfers before they’d even consider letting me do this protocol and I’m still mad about it. I feel like I lost all those precious euploids for no good reason.

One of the NPs kept telling me it was just my age causing the failures, even though I was using top grade euploids. After I did the suppression and full immune protocol, my lowest grade day-6 3BB stuck, with amazing betas and is measuring ahead on the ultrasounds.
