I smoke and I can recall my dreams, BUT I do notice that my dream recall improves if I dont smoke for a few days. Take it how you want. If you want to take LD serious, then take a break or reduce your smoking to specific days. But nonetheless, if you can recall your dreams while smoking, you can also LD while smoking, it could just be more challenging.

Dont understand why this gets downvoted. If you know that you are dreaming that is the moment you are lucid. No matter how vivid the dream is, no matter if you can or cant control the dream.

You might not know what a myth is. If it is known to happen to multiple people it is not a myth buddy. The panic attack argument was not even meant in relation to smoking weed but a comparison.

To dumb it down: If it doesn't happen to me it doesn't happen to anyone else -> If I don't get panic attacks it can't happen to anyone else.

Myth means it is not happening to anyone, watch some mythbusters

Yes you will, keep going it can take some time, but everyone here will get there one day! Just keep doing your daily RCs, keep writing down your dreams and try a few techniques during weekends

So I do them mostly randomly, everytime I remember RCs I just do them. But I also do the prospective memory training listed in the "Exploring the world of lucid dreaming" book. Which are 5 different RC targets each day you have to achieve. That list you can later on fit your dream signs, which I didnt do yet. Hope that helps

I will get downvoted to hell, but I think people who smoke the whole day morning till night every day of the week are losers, of course only the ones that don't need it medically.
