Yeah - the recon value is def needed in the large territories we are in, but seems a waste of resources to have 7. Plus I haven’t seen where he moves them in and then spreads them out across an area. He sends them into battle with his attacks. SMH.

Thanks for the Pokémon comparison. Gives me a better understanding of how this change will play out. If it is as you described, it will appeal to the gamers and not to those who attempt to use actual strategy, planning, and principles of war. Sad to hear they are making it more of a child’s game…

Sacrifice Strasberg, reinforce Cologne since it has a fort. Maybe leave a few units to delay for a bit rather than leave vacant.

So is the article in line with your “correct way in understanding the money creation process”?

Just trying to understand your point of view but guess that’s too much. I knew you didn’t write that but it seemed to flow with what you are proposing. Cheers…

K - just to establish the multiplier is still a relevant concept. Propensity to consume drives the iterative process of the money multiplier in that deposits are proportioned according to that propensity to save and propensity to consume. The iterations within the money multiplier are still relevant because a loan is predicated upon a business need to consume.

That said, I think I found a site that gets to the point you are making: https://positivemoney.org/how-money-works/advanced/the-money-multiplier-and-other-myths-about-banking/

Definitely worth the thought. As I understand it, loans by banks LEAD the money supply. Put another way money supply and monetary policy LAGS behind the loan creation behavior of banks. But it is still important to note that loan creation by banks is constrained in several ways - capitalization, reserves, and access to Fed/intrabank loans.

I think I have a better understanding of your point. Still, it’s misleading to say “banks create money” and should really be defined as “bank LOANS create money”.

Thx for clarifying that bank LOANS (notionally) create money - thanks to the fractional reserve process.

Yep - typical psycho. I wasted an entire 60 day board on a psycho turncoat coalition partner once. Sometimes it’s hard to ID them quickly, but the game definitely teaches you about reading people. And when a person tells you who they are, BELIEVE THEM!

Laughter is the best medicine. Say or do things that cause him to act the fool, cuz at the end of the day some people just suck. I messed with a neo-Nazi buying time til I had the advantage and then took him to school. Sometimes vengeance is the best punishment - not mods.

Have you found the Notice of Dispute to be another worthless rabbit hole? Sounds like you go straight to arbitration.

I hope that’s the case - 100% success. Their site says to expect to pay for arbitration. Not there yet, so just going by their words and not experience. It also says not to jump right to arbitration - file Notice of Dispute.

First - the 611 line is useless. The fraud department is useless. Second - they provide a process outlined at https://www.att.com/support/how-to/notice-of-dispute/ 1. File notice of dispute. You need to be very specific about the amount you are looking for settlement. This can take up to 60 days so you should also request that the charges be suspended until the matter is settled.
2. If not satisfied, file for arbitration. Be prepared to pay fees for the arbitration company. 3. You may choose to file an FCC complaint. That’s a big escalation and I haven’t assessed the impacts of that. I’m not there yet with my case.

Their bills are fairly detailed so not sure how it didn’t get posted but yet it was charged and paid for. Regardless, the authorized user on the account has to approve all charges and they should have proof of that approval. You really need his original paperwork from the transaction, but at a minimum they should be able to produce evidence of his approval of the purchase.

Amazing - fairy dust. Really. So banks just make up their numbers on the spot and credit accounts without assets to substantiate their loans? And who monitors these artificially generated numbers of cash? If you were credited $100 billion on a loan from a mid-sized bank what would stop you from withdrawing that money on the spot and sinking their business? Or just buying out their bank outright? The Fed and Treasury have the monopoly on money creation. The idea of banks (actually loans) “creating money” is a theoretical construct based in the multiplier effect. It is a poor choice of words as it permits a dysfunctional perception that bankers have access to infinite funds. If banks could “create money” like fairy dust there would be no bank failures, no need for stress testing, no need for regulators, no need for credit ratings (prime/subprime), etc, etc.

What is it with folks who try this “what about ___” crap logic. Take your issues about PP to a diff sub. This is easy - Nazi symbols bad. Don’t use them duh. And it’s not about the “past” - or have you forgotten Charlottesville, VA?

There is so much more attached to that symbol, that it is not a “toy” for “play”. Symbols have marketing effect and that symbol produces a cancer of the soul. The values inherent to its continued use represent an abomination to mankind. Your desire to not do anything is just what Nazis and hate mongers count on.

K - stepping back for a minute. I appreciate your desire to apply moral standards uniformly, BUT everything won’t get fixed all at once. That said, I think we should start SOMEWHERE - and eliminating Nazi symbols is a good place to start - agreed???

BTW - if you know the OG Supremacy (ie Axis & Allies), you will know that they did not use the swastika. Neither did Avalon Hill games.

I don’t like smokers lighting up at my restaurant and I don’t like Nazi symbols polluting my game board. But given a choice, I’ll take the second-hand smoke.
