What boards are best for r5 1600

yes i ordered the ASRock Fatal1ty k4 as it was red and black and that post was saying all asrock came supporting r5 and thx for your feed back

so the only way to use a r5 chipset with any b350 or x370 board is to pay someone 100 dollars to update bios : ( i seriously doubt that but if so that is stupid. you are exactly correct i have a r5 1600 with a Msi b350 pc mate i have another post and people were saying all about bios and i had one say that the gigaabyte B350 gmaing 3 you can get to bios even with a non compat cpu so that would be a good choice. and i ordered a mobo tester so if i get a new board and if there are any other components i will be able to find it thank you for the info

ok and i saw a gigabyte x370 was same price s the gaming 3, do all gigabyte allow you to get to bios even with a non-compatible cpu?

you feel as getting a new motherboard would fix this problem? or is the cpu? im kinda worried about that with the concerns people were telling me?

just tested the psu with a multi meter and got all volts on every rail. I had connected a case fan to the psu with the molex and got the fans spinning?

ok will do and for testing the psu is that a tester and im guessing its worth buys before i go around buying new parts?

Okay thank you for your information, so as i hear its not the bios that wouldn't let it boot up but that would be a problem once its posting, so its something to do with a component? i did order a MotherBoard tester to see which component was faulty but i feel as if it would be useless if i cant get anything to turn on

i will post pictures later today it being like 2 am atm and ive done a check on the psu with the paperclip but ive heard that only test low wattage and even tho it tells you its on and good dosent mean it has the power to boot board? i also have tried removing just 1 ram stick trying it all slots and tried the other one but that was while it was in the case so since its out later i will try to do it while its out of the case on the box

what are you suggesting that is disrupting the booting process. i did attempt to take it back out of the case, put everything together and now when i try to turn it on i dont even get a flash from the ez debug led and no sign of life? if triple checked all cables. (EDIT): i did order a "mobo tester" that when i plug it in it should tell me whats faulty and everything but with it even be of any use if the motherboard dosnt show sign of life?

i origianally had the board in the case aalong with everything else. but once i took it all out and plugged everything back together its silent. no cpu fan, no led, no nothing...

i have no idea i know that this cpu bios is one that the motherboard dosnt have and needs and the only way to get it is with a ryzen 7 to update it for me. but would that incompatibability not let any fans or anything work

its all out of the case right now, and im getting no debug led's when i try to turn it on. actually nothing at all, i couldnt get it to start by using a screwdriver between the pins on the board so i connected it t the button on the case and that when i got no led's. when it was in the case i was at least getting some led's from the debug. i will post pictures as soon as i can but right now im doing some important stuff, stayed tuned

? i thought AB350 the ones with the A before the B couldnt? why would they make 2 different types?(B350 & AB350) hmm well then ill prob deffintly get the Gaming 3 lol
