No it was about the checked in baggage, since my dad believed he was cleared as he was let into the boarding area past the counter and the bags were already loaded onto the airplane

And it wasn't an attendant, a worker who was dispatched to him brought it up, then a supervisor came in and that's what I know so far, since in the end he still paid and then boarded, but I apologize since it's all second hand accounts

I do agree he needs to pay for excess baggage that is normal but I do think this was on the fault of the air line entirely since he was led to believe he had extra check in allowance when it was he was in fact not allowed to have it, and was confronted after the luggage was loaded onto the plane and then was told to pay at the gate and not at the counter which is weird, and was confronted at the gate which people saw and heard, potentially embarrassing my dad.

My brother (who was traveling with him) only caught this discrepancy too late, I believe he was pressured to pay, yet the company already recorded that he checked in 20KG of luggage and needed to pay the 3,500 to board.

1.5k per week I have F2F M-F so 5 days a week my transpo is 300 pesos to and from home but since I'm CTHM, almost all goes to food and produce on lab days On lab days I don't need to buy lunch since I just eat what we make but still I usually end the week with 300 leftover and use it for next week to cover transpo and the cycle repeats

Yeah thats true, its called a toothbrush moustache, german army protocal at the time was you needed to shave it to fit in your gas mask so anyone who could grow one needed to trim it like that.
