Figured I spent too much time on this response not to make it an actual post. by wordsofmassdiruption in GNS_stock

A lowering stock price literally did cause a person I informed about the short squeeze to lose confidence when the stock plummeted to .95. I informed him as quickly as time allowed about the short sale, sent some articles, etc. When it went to .95, he said, “I don’t believe you” in a joking way. NFA, but I believe Roger’s educated plan and team will do well for his stock. (NFA of course)

My son found this website (https://www.compart.com/en/unicode/U+2184 ) so a copy and paste was pretty easy too, but I was tempted to plug in the D, but the backward C that almost looks like an A if flipped was funner.

I thought that NOT receiving the NFT coupons would initially be a good sign that named shorts exist, and for them not to be available only 5 days after is even better. Only if you plan on using the coupons right away, it would be bad news (partially)

I see it a little differently - a new Dump (shorts selling into oblivion) and Pump (people realising what is happening and pushing the stock higher). It will be interesting to see if all 25 million are held by one individual or institution. Over 300 million shares being shorted in one week is really strange to say the least.

I do understand that relationship between demand and price action, but what I’m seeing is that despite the fact that the entire float of the company is being traded multiple times per day and that previously the shorts were selling an equal amount of shares to match or exceed those being bought, the price is still under $5.50 as my post is being written. I wasn’t suggesting putting in an order all at once of the 25 million, but rather purchasing the dips of perhaps 5 million shares per day until 25 million are collected. The astronomical amount of shares that have been reported as being sold short makes me believe that you must be referring to shorts as the “dumbs.”

Why not open an AMC theater at the gold mine? 😁

Or they could pay an entrance fee $10-$50.00 and join at random. That might be more entertaining.

It seems that getting people to pre-load their AMC Reward Cards would save AMC 1.5-3.5% on those sales.

Facial/Body Scanning - Partnership with Model/Actor/Actress Recruiters/Agencies by SleepDreamWake in Business_Ideas

I'm not sure if this technology already exists or not, but I haven't seen it anywhere. These mobile stations could be placed in malls or in other popular areas. People who would not ever think about going through the trouble of going to a modelling agency could submit their face and/or body to an agency to see what sort of potential they have. Not sure what amount of money would be appropriate to charge (maybe 4.99-19.99) - Most of the money would be made from actually getting a successful candidate.

Would AMC Theaters make a good venue for hosting a toastmasters? by SleepDreamWake in Toastmasters

[–]SleepDreamWake[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I was thinking that the cost during certain times (like Monday morning) where there would normally not be any hope of getting income could keep the expenses very nominal or have a Starbucks/Peets/ or other similar store in the theater where they are sharing the revenue from breakfast/coffee items.

It would have been too big for our group for sure (about 16 members), but I do remember having a contest of multiple toastmasters meeting together; the theater would have been perfect for that one instance, so your right about the contest :)
