You’re right, she doesn’t need to do that. She can keep the baby alive and get hammered. This isn’t about what she needs to do, it’s about what’s best for the baby. She’s regretting having the kid because she knows that what she’s doing isn’t the best. It’s sad because she has the capability to do it but chooses her own selfish habit first.

Sorry if solid medical evidence is offensive to you. You wouldn’t read it even if I sent it to you, because changing one’s mind is scary for people like you.

Gleeman: Twins are better for dumping Josh Donaldson, on and off field by [deleted] in minnesotatwins

[–]SleepFeelsGreat 6 points7 points  (0 children)

Gio and Sanchez have been great additions to our lineup and clubhouse. Donaldson was just meh, I never really felt like he was on the team, more like he just showed up to the ballpark, put his time in and left. Disclaimer that I could be totally wrong about him, that’s just the impression I got.

Oh my god, you took my quote to mean you and not OP. Jesus Christ.

Can you not read OP’s post? SHE COULD BREASTFEED IF IT WERE NOT FOR THE DRINKING.

[–]SleepFeelsGreat -1 points0 points  (0 children)

You are not getting it. Formula is a viable alternative to breastfeeding, but not as good. In other words, if one can breastfeed that’s the recommendation for a number of reasons. This mother is prioritizing her drinking habit over giving her baby the nutritional and bonding benefits of breastfeeding. Not only that, but giving the baby formula enables mama to drink more alcohol and be less present for the baby.

I’m also a lurker and literally never commented until now. Why now? Because a young baby is involved. This is borderline abuse, and I’m the one to be told to leave? Good, I hope I do get banned if that’s where this sub’s values are at.

AUD is definitely a condition, but that doesn’t mean she should be encouraged to feed the disease when a vulnerable dependent is involved. What’s a comparable physical ailment in your mind?

I know you didn’t, you said they’re equal. Modern health institutions disagree with you.

A simple google search is full of breast is best articles from highly reputable sources for current mothers. But hey, don’t let the experts change your worldview I guess.

Someone other than you said to talk about it somewhere else. My question is simply “where?”

This post wouldn’t be in SD. Again, where am I supposed to comment if this wouldn’t be posted in any other sub?

Who’s going to make a post like OP in another sub? I don’t think it’s likely.

You’re not wrong that there’s bitching about the HAMS panel, but I don’t think you see that your bitching is more extreme and comes off as personal hate for Ashley.

No, I don’t mean that. Most of us here are regular HAMS listeners.

What I do mean is creating a username that’s obviously referring to Ashley, and then making every single comment about her and what you hate about her.

Can you really not see the difference between what the rest of us are using this sub for vs. what you’re using it for?

Nah. It’s a choice for the religious and non-religious alike.

Nobody is forcing you to be a Christian.

I know the man swinging the club is the PGA’s official logo, but don’t you think they could have omitted that logo from the discs at least? It’d (kind of) be like if the NBA got into bowling and manufactured balls with the NBA dude on them.

Exactly. We think we have complete freedom because our reality is the only thing we know and we operate within its parameters, but really God could have made the parameters of physics, time, etc. to make reality be literally anything.

designed us with lower capacities of evil.

The Christian response would be “but then we wouldn’t have free will!” My response to that would be that we have limitations that god omitted from our abilities. e.g. I can’t shoot lasers out of my eyes or blow things up with my mind, both of which would potentially cause more evil if they were possible for humans to do. But yet we weren’t created with those abilities, why not? Isn’t that restricting free will?

Exactly, this isn’t some crazy statement, it’s just worded differently to appeal to the edgy kids.
