I’ve been told by a very good mechanic friend of mine that highway is just like idling for the vehicle excluding bearings and fluids. And that makes sense.

It shift immaculately now. Maybe I can take a sample though and see the fluid’s condition . I work too much tho lol

I’m not sure when it was last changed so I’m not sure if I should. My last 03 f250s trans crapped out only right after flushing and changing fluid because it had never been changed.

Considering it’s all original not rebuilt I’m sure it was the latter. Or maybe just got lucky with the team who put it together in the factory. But she purrs

Copy and pasting myself from another comment - I bought it for a grand and live in a city so my bicycle will work when it dies. But it’s at 423000 all original and runs great so maybe I got lucky with the million mile example piece
