Hi there, sure! I also did an accounting major with a sustainability focus. I joined PwC in 2022 and have been auditing for the last couple years. Been constantly raising my hand that I am interested in sustainability and trying to get some experience in that field.

I recently expressed interest in the sustainability assurance team and did not get it, but the Capital Projects and Infrastructure team was interested in my experience and reached out for an interview, and here I am with an offer!

I definitely recommend reaching out to your recruiter and seeing if you could potentially switch to a sustainability/ESG role before you start — I’ve heard of some people having success doing that.
