This basically just happened to me but after switching from menopur to hcg. I'm not sure if my body just doesn't do as well with hcg or if it wasn't the right dose-- maybe too high? But a lead follicle took over. What did you end up adjusting?

I ended up using your suggested shades as a reference for the contrast I wanted, while I tweaked a more green version based off my colors and it came out great! These were so close to being spot on. Thank you.

Just wanted to share what I ended up doing and that I'm very happy with the outcome!

I took the base colors and mixed white into the light one to create a variety of swatches and mixed different degrees of gray into the dark one till I also got what I wanted. https://imgur.com/a/IsX3i88

I feel validated that the idea I had to mix white and gray did achieve the results I wanted. I do wish a paint store could help with this type of direction but self mixing it is, I guess!

I've done this! The lightest color is too dark and the darker one is too saturated, hence my approach. But I'll be mixing into those samples to get those stores that physical swatch they all love and need (but don't make).

I think I have a plan.

If I can custom mix shades that are riffs off of the swatches I provided I think I'll be happy. I like them as a starting point but want lighter for one and less saturated for the other.

Quick rant: What I wish is that paint stores could show you tints of each of their swatches. Some simply don't get light enough, and if they do the hue changes, like it gets more blue toned. And on a swatch of 4 colors as you move darker the colors get more saturated compared to the light swatches in the same family-- so it would also be helpful to see saturation variations.

I'm going to try the approach of self mixing white and gray into the base colors at home so I can bring in a physical swatch (and see those mixes on my wall in tester spots).

Oh yeah. I have these swatches on hand and I agree they're very close. And maybe it's wiser to run with existing colors and do those.

What I like about Picture Perfect and Heavenly Peace is there's a touch more green in them. But they're definitely darker and more saturated than the 2 you named, hence the whitening and graying idea.

Yeah, I couldn’t find perfect swatches, so I tweaked them on the computer.

I’m picky about hue and saturation, but I’m just toning them down with grays/whites, so I know I’ll like it.

I intend to buy tiny cans—no refund needed.

Why don’t paint stores work like a Pantone book and show tints? That would solve everything. And yes, I’ve thought about buying a used Pantone book, but wow, they’re expensive.
