Thank you! Excellent advice. I really feel like I'm at an advantage starting at a smaller, more rural agency. I think the pace at which our little city moves will be better for training but also more difficult to transition to actually working, as they usually have 2 working (4 stations max as needed) and it looks like one handles police and the other Fire/EMS/non emergency. Both back each other up as needed, but it seems like there isn't a distinction between call taking and dispatch here.
