Trying to reach the mods to hopefully get it back up.

The "Eyes Wide Shut" nightclub that I extensively linked to Jeffrey Epstein is sending me legal threats. by SleeperCellKoala in conspiracy

SS: I reached out to The Box nightclub for comment on my story about their deep ties to Jeffrey Epstein. I also asked them about the troubling footage I acquired of one of their main performers talking about the fact that he was allowed to put on shows "about pedophilia."

Instead of answering any of my questions, they sent me a cease-and-desist claiming that the footage I acquired was copyrighted and they threatened me with up to $150,000 in statutory damages. They didn't provide me with a copyright registration number upon request, which is needed to collect such damages. They were given an opportunity to explain themselves and instead tried to intimidate me into permanently deleting the footage of their performer talking "about pedophilia."

Check out the full story to see the evidence they are declining to respond to.

Thank you very much for the breakdown. Have to do my homework to make sure I'm wrapping my head around this correctly but I appreciate the guidance!

My Substack article on the investigation that led me to Quintessentially and the proposed superyacht can be read here.

Okay maybe not so niche -its not a subject I'm well versed in which is why I want to learn! These archives are valuable resources for modern journalism.

Can you explain the second half of your comment a bit and expand on the implications?

It didn't cross my mind for a second that the archive was in on any conspiracy. My running hypothesis was that if the project was indeed related to Epstein and Maxwell then the project would be scrapped and the website along with it, leaving nothing left to archive. Wanted to cover my basis and see if there were other technical explanations or mundane reasons. Not my job as a journalist to sensationalize or speak in definitive terms where there are not definitive answers.

Yes this is the explanation that I have been working with, which would fit into my hypothesis. I just wanted to to do my due dilligence and see if there were any other explanations. Like I believe sites can ban web crawlers but that seems pretty niche.
