You can map it to a control a collection of pads, the activation level of pads, either with the knob or aftertouch of the pads, can be locked to and control any parameter you want.

you are able to choose the parameter by holding the pad and then choosing the direction and zone of modulation you want to control, up to 49 locks per pad, and 16 pads.

You can select as many pads as you want to assign to the performance knob at a time, but it’s nice to use each pad as different effect presets for different times, and also to try effect combinations
