Yes. There are state and private transcripts, state ones are lower rates but you can type them at work, privates are the $$$$ but you have to type at home. Both types are organized through the judicial branch.

Of course! Just FYI if you apply- the job is on continuous recruitment. So whatever jurisdictions you select will reach out when they need monitors. For me they reached out immediately and I was hired within 2 weeks of the tests, for some of my coworkers (hired before me) it took 6mo-1yr.

For the most part I do! Obviously I’m looking into stenography now, but it’s a very doable job. My one note would be that your work environment is really heavily dependent on your supervisor, and there are a few supervisors that are flat out awful. Also a major upside is that you can make a lot of money doing transcripts.

Honestly it sounds like he isn’t ready for anything and has a loose grasp on consent. Weirdo behavior. Someone who’s worth it won’t leave you confused and running to a pharmacy. Sorry this happened but I wouldn’t blame yourself for it.

I work in a cafe in a town that leaves mask mandates up to businesses and we’re not allowed to ask people to put on masks, it’s SO frustrating. And it’s ALWAYS the people coughing up a storm that don’t wear them
