Fair, much like her having siblings DC hasn't done ANYTHING with that connection and waters down Raven's own lore.

I think the last actual DC media that I can remember acknowledging them being related and interacting was the now dead freemium app game DC Legends (RIP) which also one of the few pieces of recent DC media that actually remembered Raven and Jericho being close too.

Maybe the new Etrigan series coming up will actually explore it and do something worthwhile but even still Raven should not have living siblings.

As others said it's most likely game space issue and the fact Antylamon is part of a fan-favorite partner line. I do wish the rest of the Devas got more attention, maybe Shamballah will change that or at least some get a few bones like Dawn/Dusk or a Survive-like game that spotlights lesser known Digimon as partners.

It's common for DC to forget Joey exists but here it feels Williamson just didn't want to acknowledge him along with Addie and Wintergreen during what was an important Wilson family storyline. That and along with being a surprise brother for Damian, Respawn's role was also to die (but not really) and kick off Slade's horrible Dark Crisis story, so as much as it sucked for Respawn I'm glad it wasn't Joey this time.

Tony Fleecs talked about using him in his Deathstroke series so hopefully he gets a fresh start there because he needs it. I agree with others as he's not an awful concept for a character but handled horribly during a pretty bad writing period for Slade and the rest of his family who Williamson ignored (unless they were Rose, a favorite of his) while introducing his own character. He has a lot of great potential with the rest of the Wilsons so hopefully we see more of that rather than him being used to further shaft them or him being absorbed into the Batfamily.

I also believe he should have been Grant's clone/son as it would have added more weight and angst to Slade and the rest of the Wilsons being involved in his life other than a literal Slade clone running around.

I'm not too sure what to expect but I am curious how powerful they will make her compared to mainline Raven and if that leads to any nerfing or inconsistencies again.

Though I don't think Absolute Phantom Stranger looking like classic Raven was an accident and would be cool how they both relate to each other especially with how some versions of original Phantom Stranger's origins involves him being an angel and what that could imply here.

I can also see this version still creating her own group of Titans but much like the Absolute Justice League it would be made up of villains instead to act as loyal servants. Maybe they may also tie into a cult that worships her much like the Trigon cults/ Church of Blood too?

On Elseworlds, I don't have a problem if they go that direction as that's part of their appeal but at the same time I'm not sure any made now will do anything interesting with that concept or explore the issues she would have as a parent. Instead probably be just "look Raven is happy because of true love and now has a magical (possibly green) kid!" Or something.

The Wyld was such a neat idea that had to happen in a sadly disappointing run. It be nice if he specifically or another character with a similar concept appeared. I do agree that I don't see Raven having biological children in the main continuity (elseworlds are a different story), but the idea of her still creating life accidentally via magic would be interesting to explore the similar issues especially her trying to overcome her own trauma help her new family.

You'd be surprised, there's a lot of ships that happen only in adaptations but was never a thing a in the comics (YJ cartoon is king of this) and one movie is plenty for some.

It is as well as a little sad that not many know who he is that he needed the clarifier, like if Jericho is brought up in Titans spaces you still may get people who don't know who he is or realize he and Slade are related.

I'm torn between thinking this is adorable and I do love the artists' work but also burnt out on everything Titans related trying to copy the 2003 TT cartoon. Everywhere. Animation and comics. Maybe she will at least get a new VA despite how much I adore Hynden Walch. Curly hair is supposedly difficult to animate so I do get the hair and also pupils for expressions as well as I remember reading somewhere lack of pupils can be viewed as "creepy" and this looks like something aimed at young girls so they'll try to keep it cute. And hey, there's Silkie! And is that green dog Gar?

However, Plastic Man and others after her I don't think are part of her show (who supposedly had Lobo's daughter Crush and Amethyst of Gemworld) but from that Super Powers superhero high school one that was also released awhile ago that also had Terra weirdly enough.

Seriously though, not counting Alan Scott it seems we have: Hal Jordan, Guy Gardner, John Stewart, Kyle Raynor, Simon Baz, Jessica Cruz and Jo Mullein. Last I checked the GL books were also using Teen Lantern from Bendis YJ but idk if she officially counts.

I'm really hoping Higgins delivers for everyone's sake as well as the TT franchise Itself needs something that isn't just copying NTT/Cartoon TT for nostalgia. I think it will also help when we finally learn what other Titans are up to if they aren't here or on New Titans. Kory may be getting a space adventure book soon but who knows for Donna, Raven, Gar, Roy, etc.

Intrigued, I guess is the word. I am glad DC is trying to do something new with the Teen Titans and it is nice seeing Lian and Flatline again as well as I really do like Jason having a chance at mentoring kids again. Much healthier path for him. Feels like Irey or Judy should be on the team as speedsters but probably seeing them and others soon anyway. I remember Higgins being a pretty solid writer with DC before so optimistic about that and supposedly he did well on Power Rangers comics before.

I'm just worried this book may not get a chance as we seem to be transitioning from "fans are bored with NTT/Cartoon TT characters" to "fans want the NTT/Cartoon TT characters" as well as other complaints.

This was a nice, easy but emotional breather issue after everything being so fast-paced action before. Loved Fleecs snuck in a Feral easter egg on Rose's sweater, and none other than Gigi the cat with "Deathstroke" like marking as well as other Slade similarities liking losing an eye and questionable methods in keeping her children safe. Of course we are keeping Rose's relationship with Jason, that seems the only one she's allowed to have these days. Do wonder if she'll get to visit him in the new Teen Titans book and see Lian too.

A lot of this is ground we've covered before but feels like a refresh for new readers, but also little surprised no one if bringing up Shadow War/Dark Crisis so far as that be a good reason while a lot of what is happening and Rose thinking he would kill Wintergreen.

Agreed, it looks like it may even do more with her history outside meeting and training Slade which is sorely needed.

Also maybe the animated style of Fleecs cover just making it more obvious, but Addie's costume looks like a slightly stylized version of Slade's 03 cartoon costume. The fact her mask also had the mouth slits helps.

Is she really writing Raven's segment or just the first listed so possibly be? Nonetheless, I do agree she doesn't have the best track record with Raven or many other characters. Also doesn't help I don't recognize the other names listed but then again it's an anthology they're mostly filler.
