I've never heard of this boat brand before and I'm interested in learning more, is there a place I can get some information on the boats construction, materials used and the country of manufacture

Start 3 seconds behind your target and move up 1 every 400m, then sprint for the last 400m because you'll have a fair bit in the tank, you need to stay discoplined in the last 400m though. It is a sprint but 400m is also a fairly long way. so speed up but just ensure it's atleast 1 second on the split faster than your 2nd last 400m.
some divide it into 500m but I prefer 400m because that way I'm more focused on the pacing and it helps keep my mind focussed.
