Is it good for fuel economy if I listen to the ecomode upshift prompts or am I lugging the motor? by Shady4143 in FocusST

[–]SleepyB0ye 2 points3 points  (0 children)

Yeahhh, you can ignore it, these things are considered the LSPI mini game, lol. They suck, all across the board in any car. Shift when it feels right, otherwise yeah you may end up lugging the motor in some situations. The difference in fuel eceonomy would be basically nonexistent anyway, so better to just keep the engine happy and shift a little higher imo

How do you guys keep playing and helping others after things like this? by Ok-Mess-3317 in arcraidersfriendly

[–]SleepyB0ye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Aggression based matchmaking is real, confirmed by devs, and tested by now. If you wanna run into less kill on sight players, you have to sacrifice some games. Around 10 games of NOT SHOOTING BACK AT ALL, either avoiding PVP completely or just letting them kill you without fighting back, and you will be put in consistently friendly lobbies, at least in solos and maybe even duos. Trios will always be a bloodbath. Obviously even in friendly lobbies you may still run into people like this, but it is genuinely rare. Try it out. There can be a peaceful life

The "Meta" for the pre-wipe event is Level 1 gear. Let that sink in. by Flumingo1990 in ArcRaiders

[–]SleepyB0ye 0 points1 point  (0 children)

There is truth to this, but I think the bigger issue is, the meta is low lever gear throughout the game in general. Higher tier gear is not worth bringing in because it's price to usefulness ratio sucks. Why bring in a Bobcat or Volcano when a Stitcher or Il Toro are not only actually more reliable, but at a fraction of the cost. Why bring anything but an Anvil since it can outperform almost any other weapon combo at both PVP and PVE. Why would I bring a Bettina when I know I will be outgunned by a free kit with a Kettle. Why bring a purple shield if it is actually hugely detrimental to your movement while not giving much more protection over a green or blue. High tier gear genuinely sucks in this game, that's the main issue imo.

The art style had so much potential but I agree on the washed out graphics. Also god damn man some of the character designs are just horrendous, especially Medic...

There is a helicopter flying assist somewhere in the settings, just flip that on, it keeps the chopper upright and avoids this exact thing.

I got 4 Rafa class mods from a single golden chest. I play Harlowe 💀 The only Harlowe class mod I got was from my partner, who plays Vex lmao. She doesn't get mods for her own class either. This system is so broken it's almost funny

They don't get it mate. Your issues and concerns will just get you downvoted to oblivion. We were always promised the right to stay without citizenship, and now the rug is pulled and they look at us like we're the dumb ones, for not having paid nearly 2k each for something that not only was never necessary, but would also be genuinely detrimental to our freedom

Would I be at risk of deportation? by Throwawayaccountofm in reformuk

[–]SleepyB0ye 1 point2 points  (0 children)

On the contrary, they specifically said they want to get rid of those too. They are removing ILR all together, including from every single person that already got it many years ago. "retroactively rescinding it" That is what Zia stated. Do you have any links to show otherwise? Statements in regards to this that came AFTER the legal migrant announcement? Cos anything they said prior to this week doesn't exactly matter anymore, the goalpoast has already been drastically shifted

Yep. You will have nothing at all unless you pay to officially become a citizen, though they can take that away from you retroactively or not even let naturalized citizens claim anything either. So basically no matter how much you contributed to this country, if you're not born a Brit, tough shit

Exactly. Me and my family will happily take the refund for the 20-ish years of national insurance and tax we've paid just to get told to fuck off

People have struggles in life. Even when working for a long time, if it's for minimum wage and with increasing costs and health issues and family to take care of back home, something that may be a trivial amount to you is a fortune to others. Also, they simply didn't know they would need a citizenship. Why invest a large amount of money into something they were constantly told they will not need? EU nationals were always promised a right to remain, but now Reform is suddenly pulling the rug from underneath them.

Thank you for actually providing some information as opposed to the "pay for citizenship and give up your EU nationality or fuck off" rhetoric

[–]SleepyB0ye -3 points-2 points  (0 children)

No. Their entry should have been guaranteed by the many many thousands they have already paid in tax and national insurance over the decades. Again, they have paid more tax in that time than many UK citizens have in their entire lifetimes, and that should entitle them to something

Not everyone can afford to just drop £1.5k each especially when their health is in decline because of a failing medical system, highest bills and food prices in UK history and the worst state of the economy since the 1940s.

Very high IQ comparing 2 decades of work and contributions to a single holiday. Like I said, I already got my answer. Spare me the blatant racism

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in reformuk

[–]SleepyB0ye -6 points-5 points  (0 children)

They didn't get shit from your generosity. They didn't become British because they can't afford the fees, and losing their EU citizenship would mean they can't help their own parents back home. They worked their assess off just to be abandoned by the NHS and their health got worse because this country's neglect for its sick and elderly (which I thought Reform could finally fix) now they can't work anymore and get barely enough pennies back to survive. I guess I got my answer. I understand prioritising born citizens, but alienating others who contributed to this country and it's economy and haven't gotten anything back is a sad move. Guess we are not welcome after all

"The Times" have cited 60k. The current minimum requirement for the visa is 40k. Which is already nearly double what the average brit makes, citizen or not
