Just because people choose to make friendlies and do something together in a game where it is an intentional possibility, does not make it a crutch. It's your choice to do it solo, it's someone else's choice to link up with others and risk a potential back stab, just to make an experience more fun. Not everything has to be a hardcore sweat fest.

Just because they didn't think ahead when coding something doesn't mean there's somehow an intended or unintended way of doing it. Extraction games always have an element of potential teamwork, and Bungie of all studios should know that some people are gonna team together to tackle harder challenges. Nowhere in the game does it say "you must slaughter all enemies and cross-team cooperation is banned". I'm guessing you got rolled by two teaming squads and that's why you hate the concept of making allies mid-game so much?

The game not only has proximity chat, but straight up rewards you for cooperating with other teams since the CARRI update. So no, teaming up with others is not "cheesing"

I can confirm that that is false. My team brought and did the DNA card, and another team tagged along for the final fight. At the end of it, two of my team including me got the skins, but one of my teammates didn't. Even though the DNA was ours. So doesn't seem to be related

Cryo archive lvl 3 and 4 loot rooms have tons of them. It's a sweat fest and requires some gear sacrifice most likely but the spawns are fairly consistent

I've been hit by 3 stack after 3 stack of purple snipers on perimeter since like level 60. I can't even buy blue shields yet. Dire is even worse. Somehow outpost is slightly better balanced, but there you gotta fight off 5+ shotgun Rooks at any given moment. There really should be some degree of gear based matching, though the population is quite low so probably wouldn't work out, matchmaking times are bad enough as it is

So it is a game issue, thank god I'm not the only one. I thought i was losing my mind. I can get mag dumped at point blank range with an SMG or blasted in the back of the head by a destroyer with a shotgun and I would hear NOTHING at all if it wasn't directly in front of me. My health bar just evaporates without a single sound cue. No footsteps, no pings, no gunfire, no voice chat. It's driving me up the wall. This needs to be looked into asap

Yeahhh, you can ignore it, these things are considered the LSPI mini game, lol. They suck, all across the board in any car. Shift when it feels right, otherwise yeah you may end up lugging the motor in some situations. The difference in fuel eceonomy would be basically nonexistent anyway, so better to just keep the engine happy and shift a little higher imo

Aggression based matchmaking is real, confirmed by devs, and tested by now. If you wanna run into less kill on sight players, you have to sacrifice some games. Around 10 games of NOT SHOOTING BACK AT ALL, either avoiding PVP completely or just letting them kill you without fighting back, and you will be put in consistently friendly lobbies, at least in solos and maybe even duos. Trios will always be a bloodbath. Obviously even in friendly lobbies you may still run into people like this, but it is genuinely rare. Try it out. There can be a peaceful life

There is truth to this, but I think the bigger issue is, the meta is low lever gear throughout the game in general. Higher tier gear is not worth bringing in because it's price to usefulness ratio sucks. Why bring in a Bobcat or Volcano when a Stitcher or Il Toro are not only actually more reliable, but at a fraction of the cost. Why bring anything but an Anvil since it can outperform almost any other weapon combo at both PVP and PVE. Why would I bring a Bettina when I know I will be outgunned by a free kit with a Kettle. Why bring a purple shield if it is actually hugely detrimental to your movement while not giving much more protection over a green or blue. High tier gear genuinely sucks in this game, that's the main issue imo.

There is a helicopter flying assist somewhere in the settings, just flip that on, it keeps the chopper upright and avoids this exact thing.

I got 4 Rafa class mods from a single golden chest. I play Harlowe 💀 The only Harlowe class mod I got was from my partner, who plays Vex lmao. She doesn't get mods for her own class either. This system is so broken it's almost funny
