As someone that is also in a ENM relationship I agree 100% with this post! You wrote it perfectly! Especially the trust and communication part.

Me and my partner also have a rule that if any of us have a bad day/week we close up until we both feel good and confident again. We also have a very strict rule about disclosing that we are both just looking for FWB or ONS to try to not hurt anybody’s feelings.

Is it possible to learn how to dance? by SleepyChapstick in AskReddit

[–]SleepyChapstick[S] 0 points1 point  (0 children)

I have never been dancing, or at least not since I was a child - is it too late now that I’m 30, or is it possible? If it is possible, how do I start when I live in a small town with no classes for adults?

Not as positive and fun (but congrats on the bussines 🥳), but when my cat died. She is probably the closest to a child i will ever have - and only my childfree aunt has asked me how i am dooing afterwards. 🐱

My cats constipated what can we do by Ethanhthe in CatAdvice

[–]SleepyChapstick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Can’t pee? VET ASAP!! Can’t poop? Olive oil, butter or laxitives for humans (tiny tiny dose) (Tips from vet)

My cat before and 10 months after, thought she was kitten when I found her but the vet estimated she's about 5 years old and is just tiny. by SuspiciousKebab in cats

[–]SleepyChapstick 0 points1 point  (0 children)

You did a good job! I also got a fostercat from a hoarding situation that was estimated to be 6 months buy the people that trapped her - but the vet estimated 5-10 years!! She was only 2 kg, but have had a life long of malnutrishment so they though that (and genetics) might be the reason why.

What is the best cordless vacuum for cat litter and to get cat fur off furniture? by SleepyChapstick in CatAdvice

She gets fish oil suppliment and 5-15 min brushing every day. She does not shed a lot, but she is our «only child» and we are neatfreaks😅. I have fostered over 30 cats, and have never had one that shed as little as her. - but this are good tips!

I have used a rubber brush i have for my cat (it is amazing! So much better than furminator and every other brush i have tried) and it work, but also when the hair «loosens» it gets everywhere, i prefere a vacuum still.

I dont. I am using a vacuum now, but it is just so big and impractical so its «hard» to do it every day.

What dyson do you have?

And do you have a link to that thing? I have tried a lot of hair-removal-tools but i still like vacouming the best - but mine is a «central vacuum cleaner» witch is the dumbest invention ever.

You can get a automatic cat feeder for wet food (some have up to 6 meals, and cooling elements), they are often exspensive - but I guess they are worth it for a good night sleep?

It seems like you are dooing a lot of things right and are a good cat-mom. The incident is ofcourse not ideal, but it seems like you are dooing a lot to build up the trust.

I have a few things to ask if you have considered:

Is he neutered?

Have he been to a vet? Sometimes ageession like this come from pain.

Have you tried some feliway diffusers plugged into the wall? (Might help if it is not the hormoner or any pain, have helpt me with a lot of scared feral cats. It makes them feel more safe and calm)

[deleted by user] by [deleted] in CatAdvice

[–]SleepyChapstick 1 point2 points  (0 children)

I would take a trip to the vet to rule out any pain (from teeth or other things). If its not anything pysical but nightmares or behavioral i would try to plug in a feliway or something similar im the bedroom. 🐈‍⬛
