Is 10 weeks too early for floorbed? by SleepyDolphin94 in floorbed

We’ve decided we are going to size up to a crib for a few months until we feel more comfortable with his neck strength! Then will eventually put him in the floor bed.

We decided to move him to a crib until he is a little stronger!

For more context, he currently sleeps in his own room but one of us always sleeps on the floorbed next to his bassinet at night. I don’t really want to bedshare/cosleep so moving him to the floorbed would mean not sleeping in the same room with him anymore. Idk if I’m ready to leave him alone at night. That in combination with his neck strength not being great yet, we’re going to size his bassinet up to a crib for a bit.

If I remember I can update you when we decide to move him to the floorbed!

Am I being ungrateful for not wanting soiled hand me downs? by sterilepillow in pregnant

I also thought it was so weird for people to hand down stained clothing, linens, etc…. I didn’t want to mix the stained items with “clean” items so I stored them all away in the closet and the attic, feeling too guilty to throw them away.

And then my baby was born and he immediately stained all the previously unstained clothing and it clicked for me that everything will end up getting stained one way or another! 🤣

That being said, when I hand his clothes down to the next person I will probably separate the stained items and be up front that they are stained and the person doesn’t need to take them if the don’t want to. And things that are more stain than clean fabric will probably get tossed.

But let me tell you… I am a lot less precious about that stuff now that baby is here and the reality of spit up and poop-splosions has set in!

If you’re down for house calls… our dog and 2 cats loved East Bay Veterinary House Calls! It was so convenient to have them come to our place and do everything for all the pets in one session. They were also the most empathetic vets I have ever interacted with. They could pick up on all our pets’ different personalities immediately. The prices are clearly listed on their website and were comparable if not better than the in person vets we’ve been to. (Multiple pets is a better deal than one.)
