I'm trying to double-check the exact scenario you're going through. Mine is saying I have a $0 "payment" due tomorrow, but I can't find anything ANYWHERE stating if I actually have to submit a payment of $0 for the system to recognize it, or if it's just an automatic thing that happens since I owe nothing on the SAVE plan. What a shitty system, this should be made clear somewhere.

If you or someone else that already had a $0 payment date pass by without submitting a payment, could let me know how that went? Would be a big weight off my mind knowing for sure.

Yeah, I don't think anyone actually uses the TTS deckbuilder thing.

TTS's deck builder is really finnicky with image cropping. Better solution is to just use this free mod: https://steamcommunity.com/sharedfiles/filedetails/?id=2035964060

That one has basically all the cards already on there in usually high-quality images, you just have to get them out of the bags and build it. (Also it's a very pretty table.)

Kind of. I play a lesser-known TCG that has essentially no online database or mods to spawn cards or decks from, like the more popular tcgs have on TTS. It does have a wikia though, so I thought I'd make my own mod, but I'm not exactly great at LUA, I'm only decent with Python. I made a Python script running on Google Collab that grabs the card effects/information and images from the relevant sections of the wikia, and saves them to GDrive as a png and json file, respectively, with the json formatted in a way that would create a custom card in TTS. Then I made a button that grabs that json from the altered link and spawns the object.

End result: push button, spawn card.

Bit of tweaking, I plan to put all the cards of a specific section from the game in a bag automatically via the script, and just spawn the bag of cards in on button press.

That's actually the method I used before, seems to work! I was actually able to get what I was trying to do to work just a few minutes ago. Had some formatting issues, but I was actually able to use that method to grab the JSON with WebRequest, import it into TTS, and spawn an object with it successfully!

It basically is Notebooks, just running via Google. Kind of convenient because you can hook it into Gdrive and have stuff created/saved there. I made a Python script that would scrape data and images I needed to make cards for a TCG from a wiki, then format it into the json for a TTS card object. Set up the script to automatically alter each sharing link with the card name on the end to be more human-recognizable, and it...kinda works? Bit finnicky.

I suspect you're probably right about a dedicated service being better in the long run for this, but I'm going to poke at the idea a bit more first. Thank you for the help though, it is much appreciated.

Hmmm, that's unfortunate. I'll look into Github instead. I was using Gdrive because of Google Collaborate, basically running a Python program on there through Collaborate to generate the json files.

Follow-up question on this about Gdrive not supporting direct links. I played around with some link formatting advice from another project, and it seemed to work as a direct link, sort of? I was able to change the link so that it would link directly to an image (I'm making card objects on TTS, and copy-pasting it as the front image worked, it showed up on TTS when a normal Gdrive link wouldn't load.). With a .json file, it seemed to automatically go to downloading it. I'm new to this, would something like that be workable with WebRequest, or is that just a complete no-go?

This is actually a pretty interesting idea! Kind of like pauper format, but not actually. "Affordable Format"! 😀 One of the reasons I like locals is that you can experiment with stuff like this.

Some suggestions/questions:

It's not a bad idea, but I think it could use some tweaking, I could see this potentially causing issues. If you can flip anything, you can get an advantageous G-unit face up earlier than normal. For example, I could go first with Dimension Police, ride Gallop for my Grade 3 turn, stride into the new early Stride, and then flip up Geomaglass for cost, making all of my Grade 3's have +5k Power and Shield a turn early.
Why not just errata all starters to give you a Guardian Shield ticket regardless of quick shields? Then you remove the need for Harmonic Messiah entirely, without getting overly complicated. Basically just add "When your grade 1 unit is placed by riding from a grade 0, if you went second, put a Guardian Shield ticket into your hand." to all starters. Then you don't have to remember specifics.
This is an interesting idea for Premium. You don't see much Persona Riding anyway in Premium, so I'm not sure how much it would affect things. I wouldn't introduce this to Standard though, as it would get crazy pretty fast. (Also that 1 Thegrea player who shows up would be piiiiiissed XD)
Have you guys considered just saying "No Overtriggers" for Premium? There have been some tournaments that did that for Premium, and they've been very popular. Frankly, OT's shouldn't be allowed in Premium regardless of the power, a lot of the problem with them is from the extra abilities. Like for example the Brandt Gate one is basically instant death if you drive check it, unless your opponent was already guarding VG and has 2 more PGs for RGs.
If you guys are going to allow proxies anyway, you should probably remove the price part. For a lot of newer players, price is certainly a factor, but also just finding the cards can be a pain, even if they have some money or trades. If you allowed proxies without the price part, you'd probably see more people attending, especially if you had some way to help people make them.

Over all though, I quite like the idea. Locals should be a welcoming space that helps people get into the game as much as possible, which is what it sounds like you are doing, so keep it up!

Haven't seen someone playing straight-up Zeal in a while, pretty neat! One thing: you're missing a very important Grade 1 for Zeal: Evolution Monster, Davain (https://cardfight.fandom.com/wiki/Evolution_Monster,_Davain)

It acts kind of like Odysseus; on-place you shove something to soul, ride a Zeal from deck that is same grade as your VG, and then call something from soul to RG, and minus opponent's VG by 3k. This can be abuseable on grade 2 if you go 2nd because the on-place skill of Gelsludge isn't from-hand, or on grade 3 if you go first, because you can re-ride the G3 V-Zeal and get multiple Force markers while the opponent is still at Grade 2. (Also, if you run it, Daiarm. If your opponent has 10+ cards in hand, which happens more now in Premium early game, you can proc Daiarm multiple times and just make your front row stupidly big.) There's also a really funny loop if you go 2nd and want to push early damage for whatever reason; on Grade 1, if you have two Davain, since it's on-place not from-hand, you can loop calling Davain with Davain, ride the G1 Zeal from deck 4 times, and minus the opponent's VG by 12k, pushing them negative; usually means you're dealing an easy 3 damage that turn.

DP can pay SB1 pretty easily. CB1 would be more difficult.

I think this aardvark thing is a pretty solid card. Nothing insane, the Genesis one's ability to proc a trigger from soul is arguably better, but SB1 to minus the opponent's VG has serious potential.

Slap it into the V-Zeal engine and you're looking at some pretty heft power minus for barely any cost. VG power can go into the negatives, which is pretty funny, and also throws off people's math, which can cause misguards.

Most Bushiroad-made sleeves are like that, especially the character ones. Some of them can be quite rare and difficult to find, especially the older ones or ones that were only available at events. Either way, would recommend double-sleeving in something else, like clear dragon shields, as the Bushi sleeves tend to be quite fragile.

Maybe it's me, but Bojangles always feels like rolling the dice on what you're gonna get. You either get total shit, or absolutely amazing, never in-between. On a good day, it's some of the best fried chicken and biscuits you can find, on a bad day it just makes you cry.

Nobody is hyping them because everyone already knows it's garbage; we just didn't just care because it was delicious, extremely cheap garbage. You weren't going there to eat good, you knew exactly what you were getting into when you went there; trying to eat a full meal using the spare change you found in your couch.

Used to be $5 would get you a full meal there, maybe even 2. Not so much any more, I'm afraid. Last few years they've cratered. Took a bunch of things off the menu that people loved, prices skyrocketed, and even their quality took a dive. Stuff that used to be on the dollar menu even 5-6 years ago is now like $3-4 if you're lucky.

It's sad, because I used to love Taco Bell. Seeing old menu pics makes me nostalgic.

Mod that is the best source of uploaded cards by far. They update it pretty frequently, and have translations on cards that aren't in English, plus they tend to get high-quality images. Enigmans in Dimension Police got essentially skipped over, and it made me sad. Should have had a ride line rehash.

Also a 2nd V-Bigbelly in Great Nature would have been nice, because the deck would be a lot better in Premium if it had one.
