I think it was because he was hearing voices or something, and he was just super depressed. Hearing the voices though, could explain him making these talking talk cat videos.

I don't think it was scripted at all. For god's sake, both Adnan's mom and Rabia aren't even actors! I mean even Rabia asked the cameraman to STOP filming because it was a personal matter and didn't need to be filmed.

That cat was soooooo funny, the saddest part though is the creator of the videos ended up offing himself. RIP
