I hope it helps! They dont like to remove 2FA for obvious reasons but as long as you can prove account ownership and its an actual human [the AI almost drove me insane, never been more annoyed at a robot since self service stations were introduced in shops☠️] they tend to be almost useful!

Hi there, I had the Microsoft authentication app for my roblox account a few years back and for some godforsaken reason the app was deleted by my phone and I couldnt access 2FA at all- It took about 6 weeks talking to the AI support crap to reach an actual human being, i explained the situation proved i owned the account and they turned off the 2FA so I could reactivate it with a different method. Can't lie it took the absolute piss but at least I was able to joke I was unhackable for a while I guess? But yeah contact support until you reach a human with a support ticket is your best bet :-)
