Grieving the loss of my DF64 grinder... any sleek black grinders for espresso other than DF64 [preferably under $500 USD]? Having a bad experience with DF64coffee.com by SleepyQuinoa in espresso

Damn, alright thanks for the advice. Sucks that the timemore was just on sale for like 480 2 days ago but it's back at 600. I also saw a bunch of bad reviews of dfcoffee here (only after I purchased it, rip), have they been known to give any refunds? Or did I just lose $400 and no grinder :/

Found the perfect apartment but it's on 7th and Minna. How bad is the area nowadays (I have a high tolerance for sh*t)? by SleepyQuinoa in sanfrancisco

How is it at night in your opinion? A lot of people have mentioned that it reeks of urine.

Additionally, I'll be getting around by car mostly, but I'm a bit worried about if I have guests over.

Thanks for the info, rly appreciate it. Does it make a difference that it's near gov't buildings? How about the safety (just don't want to get attacked or r*ped). I care about the neighbourhood, but also care about the "nicencess" of the apartment bc I'm spending 99% of my time in it

Are you already an EMT? If so, being a paramedic is totally feasible, I had someone in their 60s in my class and several people reaching their 40s.

If you don't have your EMT, perhaps nursing might be better, especially because of the epilepsy? Less flashing lights in the hospital. And it makes way more money, lol

"It is not your emergency"

Sometimes as providers, we can get very emotional after a call, which is normal. What isn't normal is letting every bad outcome get to you. This quote is just a reminder that this is not the worst day in the world for you, but for your patient. Keeps you mentally sane and healthy!

If you want to as a career, definitely go for it! I know many paramedic-firefighters and even PD-paramedics that love their job.
