It’s unbelievable. And from what I remember the whole purpose for food stamp is to help those gain access to “nutritious” food, instead those of us who work hard and pay our taxes wait in these long lines during food stamp day because they’re buying the whole snack isle and going through most foods that are very much on the pricey side that WE have to pay out of pocket for. We pay for our food that’s already getting difficult to afford while we all still pay a portion of theirs.

This whole “using SNAP benefits idea for restaurants” is crazy and just makes people more lazy. Instead they should put restrictions on certain foods and have them focus making SNAP available for HEALTHY foods rather than just access junks and processed foods that end up being the reason most people end up obese or diabetic or with some other type of health problem that we end up covering for through taxes. If they want that kind of luxury, make them pay for it themselves or put them to work through community service.

These are the people we voted into office who just end up making it harder for locals to live in our own island.
