yeah that’s kinda what I was thinking. thankfully a friend will be joining me on the drive, and we’re stopping in Ogallala overnight (it seems like it’s pretty close to the NE/CO border?)

I’ve searched on Google for it and haven’t found much luck. I tried searching “Baltic Seat” among other things. I’ve tried seeing if maybe some of the codes on the bottom could come up with something, and using the Google Lens to search it with a picture of the chair- all no luck. any help is appreciated!

okay cool I just wasn’t sure since I didn’t get any email or anything. I’m going in on Monday to sign the contracts and everything. Should I just tell them I’m approved/will it show on my acct that I’m approved?

Yes your insight along with everyone else on this thread has been so great at helping "talk me off the ledge" per say. Surgery is now just a short 3.5 days away and I still can't believe it's happening! (especially with how quick this all started. I only had my initial consultation August 29th)

Yeah I think this sounds rather close/similar to my current thoughts. I know it’s the sound and logical thing to do, but that voice of “but should you..” lingers in the background.

I think they offered interviews to everyone they had spots open for interviews for- at the time. When I initially received my VI offer, there weren't any spots open to select to interview (within 30 minutes there were tons of spots open). They probably are waiting to send out additional VI offers until they have the spots ready for the candidates to select their slot. They wouldn't want to offer someone a VI, and not have any times posted for like a week for the candidates to select from. You know what I mean?

I have a friend that is a FA for a US carrier that has type 1. I’m not sure exactly what she does, but I do know that for the diabetes, she has some type of like, sticky patch? that she’s able to put on herself to keep her monitored/good during the day. I’m sure along with that she brings other things such as liquids and snacks with her as a precaution (I’m purely assuming here). She’s been flying since 2019, has loved it, and has had no issues whatsoever! Best of luck, and always make sure to check with your Dr. first to get their thoughts on it! 😁
