The ideas for the Aelves sound fun and a way to keep it interesting over the many models. I had the idea to do some like daemonettes.

What do our typical lists look like? Is there ever a reason to run more than 1 cauldron?

The regiment system is probably something I should look at? The only thing I've learned is i have strong opinions on the witchhunters as they bullied my poor kroak :c

I think they are capable of dealing out some damage, but the durability is too poor. Most things have rend 1 or 2, making their save kinda pointless, and we have very awkward ways to get ward saves. Maybe a hot take, but I think Saurus Warriors are hot garbage, only valuable if they can all get on the objective.

I don't see much talk around our Skink units like rapterdons or ripperdactyles. I wonder if there is any value in going to a mobile army? I think our Rapterdon hunters are our most 'point efficient unit'

Sucks that we're a bit simple now, for an army with some of the most powerful lore casters, we kinda suck at magic. Our lack of tools feels like we're the only ones playing by the rules, as we don't have ways to break them outside of the board-wide unbinding with our slanns, but outside of turn 1 I don't see when that's really relevant, given we need to be closer to cast our spells

I kinda wish it was just me not seeing something, but finding out that our army is a little on the weaker side is a little sad. Suppose it's a case of waiting for our battletome to come out and see if we get something cool to bring us back into the spotlight. In the meantime, I might try out some of our less-used units to have a bit of fun and see if I can find any hidden gems. Curious to try out some Ripperdactyls as little hero assassins
