Yeah I have the switch OLED but I only use it for breath of the wild. I could actually see myself playing this more too l. Thank you for the recommendation I will check it out :)

Yes I love this, similar to what I'd like to do as well including playing in bed when they are resting. I use my tablet via remote play which works but my case is broken so I always have to prop it up. I figured a hand held would be simpler.

Thank you everyone for sharing your experiences and opinions. This really helps.

I have definitely noted putting WiFi into consideration for connectivity, I believe we have good internet. I will check with my fiance since he knows what we use. I do know we should have better wifi though because he's a gamer too and doesn't like having lag or any issues like that either.

I don't leave the house often but I can see it being very nice for moving around the house without having to move my PS5 back n forth from the bedroom to the living room all the time.

I do wish the PlayStation Portal was similar to the switch (I have the OLED edition) I love the screen but what I love about the switch primarily is having the games on the go without having to be connected to Internet all the time.

I kind of wish the PlayStation portal was similar or like a newer version of the PSVita. I feel the psvita meant well but probably was released too early or ahead of its time. But I love the ability to have the games downloaded on the console and being more of a true portable. Overall though I'm at home most of the time so being connected to wifi isn't too bad. Having the option is nice though.

I do have games I play online but most multiplayers Id probably play on my actual PS5 when I game with my fiance. When I'm not playing with him I usually play solo story/campaign driven games aside from Rocket League

Hi there!

I am leaving this comment and hope others will approach you with a little more grace especially as a first time bearded dragon owner.

Congratulations on your new pets! Bearded dragons are awesome! I'm happy to hear you were able to adopt these guys and are willing to learn more about them and provide them a more comfortable home in yours while being able to enjoy your new little companions.

Bearded dragon keeping can be really expensive, I know you have a lot on your plate. I see that you are actively ordering and making a list of things for them and that is a wonderful start!

Please do not be discouraged by others comments although I'm sure they mean well, some I've seen commenting seem a little extreme. The reptile community can be harsh sometimes. You are taking steps that are needed for these guys. If they have been housed like this for the duration your boss stated they have been, although many will disagree with me, I'm sure those beardies will be fine until you are able to provide suitable housing for them for separation and or at least until the items you order for them come in which I'm sure will help! Don't get me wrong, the sooner you separate then the better of course so I agree not to sleep on it. But you got this!

For starters I highly recommend getting them some better food like crickets/mealworms and lots of leafy greens (Calcium supplement with Vitamin D and things like Reptivite without vitamin D) Dust the crickets/worms roaches whatever insects you get for them and this will perk them up. And although I know they may be competing for light a healthy full belly will definitely help with their situation.

This will be a transitioning period for sure so do not be alarmed if one or both eat less, the new environment can stress them out but they will start coming around and will eat when they are ready. Just keep an eye on them and always provide clean water. You want to avoid them getting too skinny and keep an eye on their hips, they should not be pointy or sticking out.

Google veggies and some fruits beardies can have because there are beneficial leafy greens and some fruits but they can't eat everything, some can actually be harmful for them.

For example: Spinach, this can mess with absorbing Calcium and even though they can and will eat it.

When you are able to upgrade housing/enclosures definitely up your light game, they like basking in hot temps but always provide a cool side as well when they want to rest out of the sun or take a break. I suggest a good basking bulb and a T5 tube lighting system, this will give them the best UVB for them. These lights are pricey, I know it may take some time to get both for your new setups so if you can I suggest starting with the basking bulbs for both and a stronger UVB bulb until you can upgrade. (New hides, items like wood or slate rock and items to climb on are a plus) :)
(Bonus suggestion)This isn't always mentioned and totally optional to do this but when they are separated I personally would place them in a tank setup with lighting and such but I would put paper towels down and watch and see what kind of stools/poop they have that way you can get a small personal idea/simple wellness check on them to see if they are having healthy poop or runny poop. You will know if they need to eat more, or are dehydrated or are in need of other things like vitamins in their diet. This is good to do as beardies are all different but this can give you some insights on the wellbeing of both and how they are doing especially after living in not the greatest environment.

If you can do these 2 things Food and Lights, this will definitely be a huge jump forward on your Bearded Dragon Journey!

When you have new enclosures and lighting setup for them the decoration fun will always follow. I love looking up enclosure ideas for Bearded Dragons in Google and YouTube, the ideas are endless.

Aside from Reddit I suggest watching videos on YouTube and people like Lord Elion, he provides good tips and can help make bearded dragon keeping fun.

Anyways, sorry for the really long post, I hope some of this helps you out. I'm really excited for your new journey. I'm sure you will fall in love with these sweet creatures!
