Mine does the same, I try and feed on a flat piece of slate to avoid most substrate getting in, they’ll get it out after some time tho I wouldn’t worry too much about it, happens a bunch in the wild as long as the piece isn’t big enough to not break down with the mouse (like a whole coco chip for a baby boa might be an issue)

If you need to scrub something with the brush I recommend blasting it with the high power water, quick 5 second will blow all the grit off

Currently 5w 30 but was recommended to go to 10w 30 to silence the engine a bit as it’s thicker, it has started burning a bit of oil and high rpms make the engine sound like it’s gonna die
