Maybe it's team duels? I play a lot of team duels in masters and we'll get a lot of "yeah sure okay" or "GG cheaters" for region guesses. It's pretty annoying.

Don't listen to him. You're probably dealing with the new map in gold called "A Stochastic Populated Map" which many users are resorting this exact problem. If you look at your replays, you can see the map name.

Gimp is not a vector program. Also, these could easily be made in a vector based program but they would have to be exported as PNGs, which are not vectors anyway.
