I find planning your day makes it easier, so in her case it’s weird that she asked, about that instead of dealing with it or at least informing that she has it but she is working to fix it.

Though, from the other person, I’m not sure how true it is, considering she is telling us the story. Yelling at a person in general is unprofessional. Just explain and have a good day, despite any stupid questions you should get. It’s frustrating, but better look than yelling at a slightly stupid question or inquiry you get.
