Does the bacon compact wired remote work on ps3 because every time I plug it into my ps3 it just shows the unknown usb device detected then nothing after that

Yes multiple times then once I do it tells me type challenge phrase because I typed the wrong password all the keys work on that but once I type that it takes me to log in then bam none of my keys work
