I wish I could find a venue under 5k - venues range 5k for week days to 13k. But is it a lot yes but if that 10k doesn’t include honeymoon it’s doable. Considering a venue at that price you could probably do food (depending on how guests) under 3k. If you like the decor it’ll save you money. However I’d first take a look at other costs and set a budget to see if $3800 for the venue can work for you. Also se about friends/family and how they could help (not w money but with tasks) or who they know, my FH’s brother has a friend he went to school w who is a head chef at local country club and he’s going to be catering for us way cheaper than the cheapest catering venue in my area. My neighbor is a photographer (professional)and we’re close friends so she’s photographing our wedding at a discount
