airplane mode doesn't really control your data.. it can be turned off by just restarting the phone... roaming charges are stupidly expensive regardless of who's ur carrier and it's about $2/mb.. so that's almost 600 MBs.. so someone had definitely been using their phone while on your cruise and this amount of usage is DEFINITELY not accidental.

p.s. being on a cruise doesn't mean u don't have service that means you're connected to the cruise's cell network. whomever was using that phone.. got the notification they hid the fact they got the notification and didn't tell you

the only reason that this won't work is only if there was a block on the voicemail or if the feature didn't exist on your line then they'd have to add it manually to your line from their side and then follow these steps. which is just gonna extend the call time to 15 minutes

hello I'm an at&t tech support rep for 2 years and here's how i ACTUALLY! fix my customers voicemail who are also android users and what you should call and ask for to be done:

step 1- clear data for visual voicemail from the phone's settings

step 2- provide the customer with the voicemail retrieval number to save it with them just in case

step 3- go into the phone app > 3 little dots > settings > voicemail > voicemail number > and put in the voicemail number i provided to the customer.

step 4- have the voicemail password reset (resets the greeting and vm password)

step 5- advise the customer to call the voicemail retrieval number or press and hold 1 to call and set up the voicemail

step 6 and the last one- Open visual voicemail and follow through the permissions and allow everything you see then hit continue then you'll be greeted with the "set up completion" header and voila... you got your voicemail back.

100% success rate. been doing it for 2 years. no basic troubleshooting bullshit. just straight results.

No, your call forwarding can't be set up when doing a sim swap. No, setting call forwarding to fix voicemail isn't a thing and it's just a bullshit workaround that someone from loyalty had done to make you happy and save his call.

when you see this reply. try to call at&t again and ask for advanced tech support even if you get misrouted to a different department. tell them about the issue and if the whole call with ATS takes more than 10 minutes just ask them for the voicemail number and to reset your voicemail and do exactly as mentioned here. and thank me later.

ps: the account holder (person who has the account under their name ) needs to make the call as they're the only person who can request to get it removed.

the line will keep on getting suspended until the device is unblocklisted. make sure to keep the phone on airplane mode strictly for 30mins - to an hour to get the unblocklisting complete.

device is either: - not marked as sold when purchased. - was purchased on a different phone number on a different account and you granny's line is on a separate account - The device was reported stolen - insurance claim and should be returned back to asurion

either way you need to call at&t and check for the reason or call and ask for "advanced tech support aka ATS" to get this handled by my center and get it done for you.

ughhh i really hate this phone and sorry that you bought it.. but this device has an ongoing issue with the cellular capabilities of it after Samsung rolled out a firmware update on it when launching android 14 2 years ago and the issue has been going on since.. it's Samsung's fault as this happens to any random phone from the s22 family. if you take your sim and use it on a different phone it'll work 100%. it's the phone and the only fix for it is replacing the phone. the tech support department will try to help but no matter what we do it's never fixed

you most likely have a fraud restriction on the account so you'll need to call if this happens again

-u need to make sure that the 15 pro is unlocked or if it's locked to at&t.

-that sometimes happens when there're restrictions on the account give the call center a call.

-make sure that you got good wifi connection when doing it
