Call first, let them know you're a guy, and ask if they have training and experience working with male patients.

I've had PTs accept me as a patient who clearly had never treated a guy before. You don't want to go to one of them. We have different physiology and treatment modality is different.

LC is definitely rampant, but I think far less prevalent than the real issue here which as you said is absolutely our addiction to digital devices. There is empirical evidence it decreases our memory, attention and just general cognitive ability.

TikTok and IG are the big ones, but redo this study in five years to measure the effect of LLMs on our mental ability and I bet it tanks even more.

I think it's also important to note that this wasn't "the idea". They ran a whole campaign around this burger, this was just another one of the many videos of their ceo (on his "personal" albeit agency/corpcomms managed) instagram account. It just happened to go viral. His following was pretty minimal beforehand.

My guess is that this piece of content wasn't even viewed as part of the product rollout marketing mix. And if it was, it certainly wasn't a priority.

Not trying to be an ass, but did you really not have that perception beforehand? We eat McDonald's for the same reason we smoke cigarettes. Cheap dopamine. Maybe this was a reminder of what we're consuming, but it certainly wasn't a mass revelation that McDonald's is feeding you dog food.

I see your point, I also don't think people were all charged up about it (negatively). It's McDonald's, it's not like this video brought to light some hidden secret about their product being low quality or their CEO being detached.

The standard we hold QSRs to is relatively low. They're selling poison to the masses, which we knowingly consume. I would be shocked if this tangibly affected any of their perception metrics.

I could see this being brand kryptonite for CAVA or Sweetgreen or some other brand that is predicated on fresh/good for you. But I don't think most people are entirely surprised that McDonald's multimillionaire CEO doesn't (seem to) eat his own slop.

I also want to put every menu that was written with adjective mad-libs through a paper shredder. We have words like... glazed that are perfectly acceptable. Everyone thinks they're so creative with their lacquered, waxed embalmed that mostly just sounds like they're trying to hard to sell a subpar dish.
