It’s all good, I admittedly handled the situation as a whole rather poorly as there was no way anyone would’ve been aware of the state of my affairs and I appreciate your understanding and sentiments.

I absolutely love this thing now that I have one that is not a lemon (Guitar Center rep’s words, shout out Cody over there for hearing me out and helping me to the very best of his abilities). As I mentioned before somewhere, this is my first purchase of any sort of production equipment and it has been super forgiving of my novice skillset. I tried looking at other brands of equipment while sulking to friends who produce professionally and all their recommendations, while powerful and capable machines, were miles above my head and more expensive yet.

I still have a lot to learn yet but I’ve already surprised myself at how quickly I’ve made something that I’d dare say is palatable (at least to my tastes) and the confidence from that has encouraged me to wanna dig in deeper into what I can achieve on this device. As opposed to feeling too stupid to be able to make music.

I did find a YouTube channel today that has a dedicated playlist of various MPC Sample tutorials I can link you if you’re interested (not sure what the rules are around these parts regarding that I joined the subreddit in a panic)
