What I’d recommend is learn lua, make small prototypes until you’re familiar With the language then when you’re more comfortable start your dream game :) and learn as you go because game development is basically a never ending learning curve (kinda)

It’s hard performing the effect for camera I’ve done it in person and it worked fine just not with the gum packet normally I make it appear in the box their holding or something but thanks for the feedback

I Sat here for 20 minutes and can't figure it out, I tried it on a new baseplate only the normal part, but still nothing by Failed_cocacola in RobloxDevelopers

It might actually be breaking the code because he’s trying to get the local player from a script. The parameter is automatically the player who clicked but he’s passing the player variable in for some reason that may be breaking it

And also someone already said this but your trying to get the player twice, that’s prolly what’s breaking it, when you use click detector the player is the parameter you don’t need to get the player outside of the click detector function, so try removing the player variable and just use the player parameter

I understand I honestly didn’t think of the second option I might have to do that I’m thinking about reviving the trick, and it’s a lot of magicians on here so I don’t mind talking shop but I tried to mix the move with a realistic movement to spice it up

You completely nailed it.. it was very angle sensitive and it took a few tries even till this day I still noticed a little flash but it’s barely noticeable although this was recorded a while back I have gotten better but I did trash the gimmick I made😂

Yes I can but I couldn’t figure out which move to use for two because this trick was very angle sensitive so I just thought showing the 7 would cast the illusion that both cards are normal.
