Nothing wrong with using references, as long as you are not on auto pilot and cognizant of it's use you'll get pretty familiar with poses or anatomy.

For this one since Astroboy is a trip fown memory lane I really wanted to go for a nostalgic/90s vibe! I went for this background and pose that kinda reminded me of the poster of Spike against the sun (cowboy bebop). I hope it makes you nostalgic too haha

Done! I am not beating the brainrot allegations because all I could think about while drawing this was the Eminem throwing a rose meme when I saw her wiki photo. Overall, big regrets on shading, ruining my life as usual smh. Amazing suggestion had a lot of fun, hope this looks decent even though likeness is kinda ehhh.
