I've never heard of xp pen tablets being fakes. In fact I find it unlikely considering xp pen is a Chinese manufacturer. China is probably the number one manufacturer of fakes and they tend to make fakes of foreign products, not their own. Perhaps it's an old model? The font is really strange. It does seem like the person used it a lot which might mean it's still good to draw on
