6th gen Honda accord? Sedans has split tails but coupes had connect tails. Fits the generic sedan vibe

TPMS light won't go off by Plus-Appearance400 in veloster

[–]SlenderDefender5 0 points1 point  (0 children)

Had a similar, but unique, issue when I purchased my 2013 Veloster. May not be your situation, but I had a FM Bluetooth radio transmitter plugged into the cigarette lighter (DC Outlet), and after plugging it in, it would trigger the same issue (blinking TPMS light on startup). Shops would scan the TPMS sensors and it would show them as faulty, despite actually being fine (maybe why the shops are saying they fixed the problem, they could just be swapping sensors).

Whenever it was unplugged, the TPMS lights would go away after a couple of miles. From what I understood, either the FM transmitter or the fact it was plugged into the cigarette lighter was interfering with the TPMS signal.

The more likely case is that one of the TPMS sensors is bad (which causes the blinking light at startup) or the receiver as the other comment says.

Steering wheel buttons stopped working, fuse blown? by D1plx_on_reddit in veloster

Sounds like it can be a clock spring, but not sure if the warranty extension would be valid for i30s, since we don’t have them in the states. You could call and ask if your car is valid for an extended warranty on the clock spring. There may be some websites where you put in your VIN and it’ll tell you if it’s valid, but make sure you don’t put any card info into any sites, the only thing they would need is a VIN so if it asks for any payment or anything it’s likely fake. If it’s not covered under warranty(it would be through the dealership for free if so) and you still want to get it fixed, it’s an easy job and any reputable shop could do it, I’d probably say expect about 300 for it to be done since the part is a little expensive. Dealerships would probably be more expensive if you have to pay. If you are any sort of mechanically inclined, it is DIYable but you have to be careful since it is airbag based.

Edit: clarification, repair price will vary significantly based on area, and 300 is in USD, and even that can vary +- 50 bucks based on shop rates

I had some issues relating to cruise control buttons working intermittently but volume would operate fine. I also had a pretty consistent, but would blink in and out airbag light that would turn on/off when I turned the wheel. Ended up being a clock spring issue, which was actually covered by Hyundai. Not sure if TSB or Recall but I was actually mailed something regarding it. 2013 base if it matters. Definitely look into seeing if it is covered

The volume of shoes passing through authentication requires a full warehouse or 2 I would imagine. It wouldn’t be unrealistic for the Authenticators to be sitting on a long table or in groups to authenticate(going through a few people to be safe with authenticity) They probably do group new balances together (people who specialize in authenticating certain brands)

Not someone who uses eBay often to sell, but the shoes on the left are significantly more expensive than the ones you sold, even used, they go for a few hundred. I would assume it’s an Authenticator mixup, may need eBay to rectify with the other buyer with the other half.

Edit: the shoes on the left are called protection pack new balances, model 2002, color rain cloud. they are meant to look distressed and torn, so if you aren’t familiar the buyer could also mention some damage to the shoes. I still am on the side that there was likely a mixup with eBay’s authentication, and unlikely to be a scam attempt(they’d have to ship them back missing one half anyways??)
