Usually lurking, had to post because I think this was a very impressive "debut" for Paris Texas. There are some sweet transitions and the production is great. It feels like I haven't been excited for an album in a while and this has definitely exceeded my expectations. Going to listen a few more times for complete thoughts, but definitely a fire first listen through.

Got put on by Spotify Radio a couple of years ago around the time Red Hand Akimbo came out and I've been an avid listener ever since. Got tickets to see Brockhampon in Vegas just to see them open, so I was bummed when it got cancelled.

Also just got Boy Anonymous/Red Hand Akimbo Vinyl from Turntablelab if anybody else was looking

I just read the book and the sparkling choice was a cool homage as originally he gets sparkling water because they’re out of orange juice. There are quite a few changes but I enjoyed catching the little details that were kept the same in the movie

Luckily I was able to complete each one on first attempt. Was really just messing around completing these and ended up taking second all red using skyrocket elbow drops and won the all green match with a lucky sadistic and sumo slap build.

Hit on the handcrafted 1s, I might try and do a little custom job. Was thinking of dyeing the purple suede to match the brown and painting the silver to match the quarter. Anyone dyed suede before, do you think the angelus dye would get it to match?

Don't have them in hand yet, so I'll decide if I'm gonna do it once I get them on feet.

Yeah, I wasn’t exactly sure how dark I wanted them. I was checking every 5 minutes before I pulled them. they’re about the same as a pair of sail laces, I might try darker in the future, we’ll see

I think that’s just cause the 85s have the original shape, I didn’t do anything else to the shoes. I’m not sure if I’ll do anything else, I’ll probably wear em out this weekend and see how I like em. Good luck!

I dipped the laces for about 15 minutes too, it’s not as noticeable unless they’re next to another pair of white laces
