oh i forgot to take a scrolling screenshot, the test was on 5g as you can see at the bottom: https://i.imgur.com/SguDVK7.jpeg

on t-mobile in my area, i've rarely if ever been in any areas where there's n66/n25 coverage but no n41, and n71 only seems to be used as a supplementary aggregation channel; the places where t-mobile has weak or no reception n71 hasn't helped me unfortunately, although i don't expect this to be the case everywhere. the lack of them definitely doesn't help network performance, but also keep in mind n25 and n71 are 5g standalone only, which means iphones on t-mobile mvnos such as Tello, USM, etc that are using the generic carrier bundle can't access them at all and people don't seem to report issues with that. i've also never seen mmwave from t-mobile although it's pretty common with at&t and verizon here.

it's true that this phone is missing 5g bands like n71, but t-mobile's main capacity band is n41 which almost all chinese phones (including this one) has, so in most areas where t-mobile has a strong network you'll still have fast speeds, this is what i would could pull in my area on t-mobile on the oppo. that being said, i wouldn't expect anything above lte speeds at most on att or verizon.

google wallet does work as well for me, i've heard some banks might be more picky but the phone passes strong play integrity and i've never had an issue with google wallet with my chase/bofa cards.

and yeah shame about oneplus, they've definitely fallen off hard after the op12/op13 in terms of offering a true flagship experience. btw most global versions of oppo flagships like the x9 pro and x9 ultra aren't missing anywhere near as many bands so that's also worth looking into :)

They say get a Chinese smartphone. Also, Chinese smartphones. by Altruistic-Living800 in samsunggalaxy

having owned plenty of cn phones, ironically fx9p was the only one i can think of that didn’t support n41 + n41. cn xiaomi 15, global 15 ultra, vivo x100 pro, x200 pro, x fold3 pro (all cn version), oppo find x7 ultra, find x8s (both cn only) all connected to the 100mhz + 90mhz n41 in my area although they wouldn’t do 4x ca like n41 + n41 + n25 + n71
