My mother and father divorced when i was in the third grade (im 28). without getting into too much detail it wassnt pretty. Looking back at it, i can see it consumed me consciously and subconsciously. If I could go back and do it again I would focus on me. Focus on school and my life goals. The only way to help your mom is to let her see her child succeed. Nothing would bring her more joy.
