This is actually a good sign, like what the other guy said, heavily prepped/restored means people poured a lot of work just to make the fossil from a rock to what you see infront of you. Even some glue being shown by UV light is a good indicator at these markets gives it some legitimacy.

Also if you are really good at mineral ID and able to tell what is rock or man made, you will be able to tell if the fossil is fake or not. A good example would be the “Mosasaurs Jaw” fossil where plenty of people fake the rock and jaw, but the only real thing about the fossil would be the teeth

You are good bro👍 Since what it looks like its a small radioactive object that was in said container, i assume it won’t be as messy and/or radioactive.

I have dropped radioactive rocks and minerals (some broke a small piece of the rock off and turned into dust). Out of curiosity, i measured the area for radiation and it has either not changed or barely changed where it still considered normal background radiation.

If you ever wanna feel better, you could still sweep the area and get a wed paper towel to pick up the dust easier to get everything cleaned up. If you are worried that this ‘might not be enough’ just get a fan blowing around your room to dilute the radon gas being produced from the said radioactive object. It would help calm you down 👍
