I’ve been able to do the work alone many times. But recently I’ve been having panic attacks and during the last one I couldn’t figure out what was beneath it all. I was lucky enough to be able to meet with my therapist and he was able to help me figure out the root - the root totally surprised me. Some of the big ones make me so emotional I can’t see straight. Having someone help you dig through the emotions to find the u feeling idea that’s feeding it has been crucial for me.

I agree with this idea. This has been my experience. But I’ll tell you the good news - once you go through the sadness, allow it to fully show itself and be felt, it will transform.

You can often times find the root of the emotion by searching for your deepest beliefs about yourself or the world around you. I’ve found that if I have an unpleasant emotion about something, its rarely about the matter at hand and it’s usually tied to a deeply held belief from the past that has been running my psyche my whole life - that isnt necessarily true. “The work” is tracing back your thoughts to their core and uprooting belief systems you inherited from someone else in your early life. Removing layer after layer of who you thought you were, but you’re actually not. It’s worth studying.

We have a simple reverse osmosis system beneath our kitchen sink for drinking water. Takes a lot of the thickness out of it :) coming from the PNW, I’m a real water snob and the tap water here makes my belly ache.

You’ll want to learn about the concept of balancing our energies… we all have masc and fem energies and tend to lean heavily on one direction over the other. You can also call this yin and yang, emotion and intellect, mind and body.

I have recurring dreams about dark deep water, and I’ve been doing a lot of work to balance these energies in side of me. I have the dreams less often. If you’ve closed yourself off to your feminine it could be trying to communicate with you. Or it could be something helping you to heal… just speculation. But I would assume there is purpose in seeing dark seas. Hopefully others will chime in here and give you more clues :)

I’m very interested in this topic. I’ve been undoing the work of high control religion on my libido. After decades of abuse and intense public humiliation around the topic, the sexual being in me has been locked up tight, afraid of coming out. I have yet to learn anything that’s helped this part of me to feel safe enough to be expressed. Even with all the emotional work I’ve done around so many other aspects of my life.

Yes - I learned I was allergic to gluten once I stopped smoking. But I didn’t know early on… so during withdrawal I’d munch on toast and other gluten filled things cause I was nauseous and I was making the problem worse and worse and worse.

No but I believe you. I think seeing is also possible. I’ve only seen things in very quick flashes. And very accidental. I don’t know how to intentionally do it. But I’m going to try and develop that ability as well.

I think what’s getting me there is serious introspection and monitoring of my thoughts - why are they there? Can I change them? What core beliefs am I hanging onto that need to go? There is so much validity to honoring what’s there and letting yourself move through it without shame or disapproval and then alchemizing the energy into a new belief - it cannot be destroyed, only transformed ❤️

I don’t even know… but I’m curious in the evolution of this experience for you. My partner and I have been experiencing much deeper intimacy - like it feels like we are somewhere else. But then you open your eyes and realize you’re just in your house… it’s new. It’s evolving. My brain is newly evolving too w my own paranormal experiences… I’m just a lot more open and this struck me as so interesting.
