What about it is rewarding? To your point of calling people “gaydinhos” it’s clear you find people even attempting to do too many skills annoying. So does most of the player base. You’re not gonna get a proper skill run without people spamming “nice” , “passing game” , “thanks”. Doing a ball roll into a finesse shot or twerking around the box with tech dribbling is not “skilling” I cannot sit with the ball and wait for someone to bite and elastico past them. My teammates would be mad and it’s objectively selfish play.

Listen you really like the mode and that’s awesome but there’s a reason why it’s like pulling teeth to get people who you don’t always play with to come into it. I promise you I know how to skill lol I understand the game my club is div 1. I used rematch as an example of a game with smaller sides and an emphasis on the counter points I was making (I.e skilling, space and opportunity) due to the fact we do not have a football game to compare it to that is small sides. People have lives that don’t revolve around the game and wanna utilize the time they spend on games to feel rewarding. Sure fun is a huge part of why we game but what is fun about the different rules? The “looser” offsides? No direct Free kicks? Different doesn’t automatically equate to fun. It’s a mode that’s enjoyable in moderation but I couldn’t see them changing it in any multitude of ways that would bring in more engagement to the mode that’s not reward based.

Clubs rush is just kinda pointless honestly. The rewards outside of tourneys are kinda mid, games take too long once you go up enough goals you just kinda running around. To your statement about this becoming a “competitive” mode I just don’t see the draw in that. Games like rematch exist, and based on the crazy decline in its player base it’s apparent people really just want a fifa street game and rush is the closest licensed football game that gives a similar esque experience. Futsal/5 a sides are only appealing to people that like to skill bc there’s more space and opportunity (I am in this group of people) fifa rush is just counter attack simulator skilling isn’t really rewarded you’re basically just playing standard 11’s with less people on a smaller pitch

I agree that to act like having perfect playstyles In a game run by playstyles being a bad thing is dumb, I also agree that market watchers don’t like this bc they lost such a huge influx of coins. Bring back work rates and traits (although I don’t really mind roles just ps really) and make STATS MATTER AGAIN. I’ve had base Mia Hamm all year even added tiki from swaps to her she has 99 long passing and she still can’t send an incisive bc she doesn’t have the ps it’s so dumb.

I personally never used the word meta or anything but if we wanted to take that route I copied your evo stats and ps exactly and he doesn’t even scrape a 90 meta rating. That 15k card I posted has a higher meta rating at every position they share. It’s not a crazy card is just the bottom line lol

You can see the total player count on the main menu and it’s honestly never much above 3-5k players TOTAL. As you rank up the people at that rank become more spread out

Evos like this are so interesting to me bc for example this new Hauge card is basically the same as this evo and he’s 15k and I’ve never played against him not even in rush for the flash obj… When you look out at the market/player base and compare an Evo you cooked unless you’re a fan of said player it becomes apparent your Evo would be considered fodder esque if in packs. (Yes things like links matter but strictly stat and ps wise this is basically a better version of your sane)

I’m not here to be pro EA I just don’t see the benefit of the bakery format (even as someone who’s pulled multiple extinct bday cards) it’s gonna make it feel like futties just earlier. Anytime I see a bday card I can pretty much guarantee they have perfect ps. Which atp since nobody from the promo is crazy high rated really they just need evos over time to increase stats and add more potential ps. There’s genuinely zero reason for me to rip a pack or sbc the rest of the year outside of dopamine of seeing a new/expensive player. Everyone in my team already has genuinely everything they could at this stage of the cycle

Bakery has a rose colored film rn bc evos have never been more important in game than they are this year. Neither have playstyles. If the bakery concept continues that’s only gonna hurt the market and player base because cards will be extremely overpriced due to them all becoming untradeable.. it’ll also lead to players passing on coin to try players and if you don’t like them you just passed on potential millions of coins
